Signing is the easy part. Proving it should be too.

A signature with no trail is worth nothing. Every SektorSign contract travels with its own evidence: who, when, from where, and on exactly which document.

  1. 01
    SHA-256 hash of the document

Computed when the contract closes. Change a comma in the signed PDF and the hash stops matching, immediately and visibly.

  2. 02
IP address and device for every action

Where it was opened and signed from, along with the browser and operating system used.

  3. 03
    Server date and time

Every event is stamped with the server’s time, not with the clock on the signer’s device.

  4. 04
    Full downloadable history

Created, sent, opened, signed and closed: an evidence report that travels with the signed PDF.

  5. 05
Encrypted in transit, servers in the EU

TLS 1.3 between the browser and the server. Documents are stored in Germany and are not shared with third parties.

To sign, the other person needs no account.

A customer signing from her phone at a shop counter, without creating any account
The signer only sees the document and their own fields.

They get a link by email, open the document on their phone and sign. No sign-up, nothing to install, and nothing for you to explain.

  1. 01
They open the link in the email

No account, no password: the link is the access. The viewer loads the whole document.

  2. 02
    They work through their fields

A counter takes them to the next required field. Nobody signs a half-filled document.

  3. 03
They draw or type their signature

A finger on a phone screen, or their name typed. Both are recorded the same way.

  4. 04
    They accept the consent

A plain tick box states what gets recorded: declared identity, IP address, date, time and hash.

  5. 05
    They get their copy

The signed document and the evidence report, immediately and by email as well.

In detail

The expensive argument on a project is almost never the price. It is what was included. A signed service agreement fixes that boundary at a specific moment and stops it being a conversation anyone can reinterpret six weeks later.

One document, several people

Plenty of service agreements need more than one signature on the client side: the person you deal with and the person who approves the spend. Add as many signers as the agreement needs, each with their own fields and their own link, and the document only closes when all of them are done.

You can require them in order when that matters — the budget holder after the project lead — or let everyone sign whenever they get to it.

And when the scope changes

A change order or an addendum is a new document: uploaded, sent and signed like the original. Each keeps its own hash and its own evidence report, so the chain of what was agreed and when stays legible without anyone having to reconstruct it from an email thread.

What you can show afterwards

The signed PDF, its SHA-256 hash, and a report with the date and time of each signature, the IP address it came from, and the exact consent text each person was shown. It is what answers "when did they agree to this" without depending on anybody's memory.

Questions about service agreements

Exact answers. None of them promises anything the product does not do today.

Can I send the same agreement to several clients?

Yes, by uploading the PDF for each one. Every send is independent and has its own signers and its own evidence.

Can I require people to sign in a set order?

Yes. With sequential signing, each person is only invited once the previous one has finished.
