Signing, without building a department around it

From a loose PDF to a contract with evidence
Six steps from your PDF to a signed document, with no back office required.
Signing is the easy part. Proving it should be too.
A signature with no trail is worth nothing. Every SektorSign contract travels with its own evidence: who, when, from where, and on exactly which document.
- 01SHA-256 hash of the document
Computed when the contract closes. Change a comma in the signed PDF and the hash stops matching, immediately and visibly.
- 02IP address and device for every action
Where it was opened and signed from, along with the browser and operating system used.
- 03Server date and time
Every event is stamped with the server’s time, not with the clock on the signer’s device.
- 04Full downloadable history
Created, sent, opened, signed and closed: an evidence report that travels with the signed PDF.
- 05Encrypted in transit, servers in the EU
TLS 1.3 between the browser and the server. Documents are stored in Germany and are not shared with third parties.

To sign, the other person needs no account.

They get a link by email, open the document on their phone and sign. No sign-up, nothing to install, and nothing for you to explain.
- 01They open the link in the email
No account, no password: the link is the access. The viewer loads the whole document.
- 02They work through their fields
A counter takes them to the next required field. Nobody signs a half-filled document.
- 03They draw or type their signature
A finger on a phone screen, or their name typed. Both are recorded the same way.
- 04They accept the consent
A plain tick box states what gets recorded: declared identity, IP address, date, time and hash.
- 05They get their copy
The signed document and the evidence report, immediately and by email as well.
Everything waiting on a signature, at a glance.

In detail
Working for yourself, paperwork competes directly with billable hours. An e-signature tool only earns its place if it is faster than printing and scanning. If you have to learn it, it has already cost more than it saved.
The whole thing fits in two minutes
Upload the PDF, drag three fields onto it, send. The person receiving it does nothing except open a link: no sign-up, no install, no digital certificate. That detail is what decides whether a client signs today or in a week, and it is the part most tools get wrong by making the other side create an account.
What you are left holding
Every completed document leaves its final PDF, the SHA-256 hash of that exact file, and an evidence report. It is what you need if you ever have to show what was agreed, without digging through eight months of email.
What it does not solve
It does not invoice, it does not do your books and it does not file your taxes. And its signature is simple with recorded evidence, not qualified: for anything that requires a digital certificate — filing with a government portal, signing with a national eID — you need a different tool. Worth knowing before you sign up rather than after.
Freelancers’ questions about signing
Exact answers. None of them promises anything the product does not do today.
Do I need a digital certificate?
No, and neither does the person signing. SektorSign does not use digital certificates; its signature is simple with recorded evidence.
Does my client need to create an account?
No. They open a link from their email, read the document, sign and finish. That is the whole thing on their side.
Can I use it for filing with a government portal?
No. Those usually require a digital certificate or a qualified signature, which is a different thing from what SektorSign does.
Your next document can be signed today.
