Consent forms
Collect consent and be able to prove it
Send the form, collect the signature and keep the proof: who consented, to which exact text, when and from where. Getting a yes is easy; being able to prove it months later is the part that matters.

From a loose PDF to a contract with evidence
Six steps from the form PDF to consent you can prove months later.
Signing is the easy part. Proving it should be too.
A signature with no trail is worth nothing. Every SektorSign contract travels with its own evidence: who, when, from where, and on exactly which document.
- 01SHA-256 hash of the document
Computed when the contract closes. Change a comma in the signed PDF and the hash stops matching, immediately and visibly.
- 02IP address and device for every action
Where it was opened and signed from, along with the browser and operating system used.
- 03Server date and time
Every event is stamped with the server’s time, not with the clock on the signer’s device.
- 04Full downloadable history
Created, sent, opened, signed and closed: an evidence report that travels with the signed PDF.
- 05Encrypted in transit, servers in the EU
TLS 1.3 between the browser and the server. Documents are stored in Germany and are not shared with third parties.

To sign, the other person needs no account.

They get a link by email, open the document on their phone and sign. No sign-up, nothing to install, and nothing for you to explain.
- 01They open the link in the email
No account, no password: the link is the access. The viewer loads the whole document.
- 02They work through their fields
A counter takes them to the next required field. Nobody signs a half-filled document.
- 03They draw or type their signature
A finger on a phone screen, or their name typed. Both are recorded the same way.
- 04They accept the consent
A plain tick box states what gets recorded: declared identity, IP address, date, time and hash.
- 05They get their copy
The signed document and the evidence report, immediately and by email as well.

In detail
Photo releases, informed consent, data processing permissions, treatment authorisations. Short documents, signed in volume, and the ones whose records are kept worst. What you need to show is not just that somebody agreed — it is what they had in front of them when they did.
The text is stored, not just the tick
When someone signs, SektorSign stores the consent text they were shown and its version, not a bare "accepted". The difference shows up a year later, when the wording has moved on and the question is what this particular person agreed to.
That is also why the signing page is never translated on the fly: the text held as evidence has to be the one that was actually displayed.
Short documents, many signers
A consent form usually needs a name field, a date, a tick box and a signature. You place the fields once on the PDF and send it as many times as you have people.
- Required tick boxes cannot be skipped to finish.
- Each signer gets their own link and sees only their own fields.
- The report records the date, the IP address and the accepted text.
Questions about consent forms
Exact answers. None of them promises anything the product does not do today.
Is it recorded which version of the text each person accepted?
Yes. The text shown and its version are stored with the signature, not just the fact that someone accepted.
Can I make a tick box mandatory before they can sign?
Yes. A box marked as required prevents the signature being completed while it is unticked.
